Checklist views, items, and details

Inside a planner, you work with items (tasks). Checkolo Planner lets you switch views so the same checklist feels natural whether you like lists, calendars, or columns.

Switching views

Use the view control on the planner (often shown as icons or short labels):

ViewBest for
ListReading top-to-bottom, editing many fields, seeing buckets in order.
My ItemsFocusing on work assigned to you (when assignments are used).
CalendarSeeing items on dates and planning by week or month.
KanbanDragging work between stages when statuses or columns are set up that way.

Tip: Stick with List until you are comfortable; try Calendar when dates matter most.

Everyday actions on items

  • Mark complete — Use the checkbox or equivalent on the item.
  • Open details — Click the item to open the right panel (item details). There you can change title, description, dates, assignment, bucket, and more depending on your permissions.
  • Reorder — In list-style views, drag handles may let you reorder (when you own or can edit the planner).
  • Search and filter — Use the search box and status filters to shrink a long list to what matters now.

Planner headers often show stats (totals, completed, blocked, etc.). Use them as a quick health check, not a grade on you personally.

Buckets (sections)

Buckets group related items (for example “Before move,” “Week of,” “Utilities”). You can add or rename buckets when you manage the planner so the structure matches how you think about the work.

Comments and collaboration

When you open an item, look for a comments or discussion area to leave notes for yourself or teammates. Keep comments professional; they are part of your workspace history.

Attachments and files

Some items allow file attachments (for example photos of quotes or PDFs). Upload only what you are allowed to share with others on the board, and avoid attaching highly sensitive personal data unless your organization approves.

Scores and status

Planners may show a score and a status (such as planned, in progress, or blocked). These summarize progress from the items you enabled. If numbers look off, check for items that are still pending or blocked and update them.

Mobile and small screens

On narrow screens, view buttons may show icons only. Tap to switch views; use the same item tap gesture to open details.

Accuracy note

Exact tab names inside the item panel (details vs custom fields vs comments) may vary. Explore the tabs on the right when an item is selected—everything is meant to be editable with obvious Save or Cancel actions where changes matter.
